Speed & Performance Training in Miami

Semi-private · Every level · Coached by Dr. Evan Motlong, PT, DPT, CSCS

Faster first steps, quicker cuts and more power, taught the right way. Our speed and performance program coaches athletes on sprint mechanics, agility, power and strength in small semi-private groups, so every athlete gets real coaching, not just a workout.

We work with athletes of all levels. Dr. Evan has coached everyone from youth and high school athletes to college players and pros, including NFL Combine prospects at EXOS.

Who it is for

  • Athletes in soccer, football, basketball, baseball, lacrosse, track and other field and court sports
  • Athletes who get beaten to the ball or can’t pull away in a sprint
  • Athletes preparing for tryouts, a new season or the next level
  • Anyone who wants structured, individualized speed training from a qualified coach

What we train

  • Acceleration: first-step quickness and sprint starts
  • Sprint mechanics: posture, arm action and stride
  • Agility and change of direction: cutting, deceleration and reacting
  • Power: jumping, bounding and explosive strength
  • Strength foundations: the strength that supports speed
  • Landing and deceleration: stopping and changing direction with control

How it works

1. speed assessment

We test speed, agility, power and movement quality to see where you are today.

2. A plan built around the results

We map out what to work on first and place you in the right semi-private group.

3. Coached semi-private sessions

Small groups mean every rep is watched and coached.

4. Retest and progress

We retest regularly so you can see the progress, not just hope for it.

Why train with a Doctor of Physical Therapy
